Sponsorship Acquisition: Zelle x Riot Fest

In my Sponsorship course, under Philipe Ravanas’s leadership, we had the opportunity to work with Riot Fest’s Director of Business Development, Max Wagner, on multiple occasions. He allowed my class to research and pitch potential sponsor opportunities for Riot Fest to use in the future.

In my Brands & Branding course, under Sandra Kumorowski’s teaching, we were assigned to pick a brand for the semester that inspired us to analyze its branding and come up with ideas to magnetize its specific niche even more than it already does through brand activations.

COACH Brand Analysis

I had the opportunity to lead the sponsorship initiatives for a portion of Columbia College Chicago’s Manifest (end of the year festival). I was responsible for local outreach to Chicago businesses to recruit food trucks, to acquire sponsor partners for activities, and more.

In my Fundraising course led by Courtney Perkins, COO of Chicago Sinfonietta, we were assigned to choose a non-profit that inspired us to research all semester. I chose “Care for Friends” located in Chicago because it uplifts members in my community with food, hygiene, and health assistance.
